When I began to form my sculptures of clay, I had no idea that portraits of them would be artistic in themselves.  At first I photographed each one for my brochure and portfolio, unaware I was creating art with my camera at the same time.  It's been fun for me to let myself go with backdrops and settings that complement my artwork.
